The rapid expansion in the use of hydrogen is a key element of the energy transition. Though hydrogen has been produced and used for some time, it will be introduced in many new environments. This rapid expansion into new areas means that our experience of previous hydrogen incidents is not a comprehensive guide to what might happen in the future. Still, we need to ensure that public confidence is maintained.
