State-owned energy company PT Pertamina (Persero), through its subsidiary PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy (IDX: PGEO), is set to complete its green hydrogen pilot project at the Ulubelu geothermal plant by 2025. The hydrogen produced will be used at PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional (KPI) Refinery Unit (RU) III Plaju in Palembang, South Sumatra Province, to support polypropylene production.
