Prime Minister Mostafa Madboui chaired a high-level meeting on Tuesday to review a proposed project for producing green hydrogen and ammonia in the Gulf of Suez. The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport Kamel el Wazir, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Mahmoud Asmat, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Hassan El-Khatib, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badaw, and other key officials. During the meeting, Madbouli emphasized that the project aims to boost local production of green ammonia, reinforcing Egypt’s ambition to become a regional hub for green hydrogen.
