The Green Hydrogen Organisation has launched our new publication, "Green Fuel Producers Are Ready to Provide 10% of Marine Fuels by 2030." The report states that achieving this goal will require 65 MTPA of green ammonia and examines policy options under discussion at the IMO, including a carbon levy, a global fuel standard with flexibility mechanisms, and a bridging option. Industry voices in the report emphasise that green fuels are ready to scale, while also highlighting concerns that biofuels are not scalable and emissions from LNG and biofuels remain too high for true decarbonisation.
